So Volkswagen trucks can carry stuff, can they? Where can I buy one, because the truck I've got doesn't carry anything.
The only way this advert would be any good is if it had never been made.

That's the point of this campaign. VW trucks are the best way to carry any specific cargo.
You don't always have to say something new in a ad, because, sometimes, there is nothing new to say.

As ambient this would have owned
But as an ad. Not so much
It could work.
But I have a hard time picturing a truck-driver going to the supermarket to buy groceries.
As an ambient, this works with 5.000 truckers.
As an ad this works with 100.000 truckers.
Ambient isn't always so effective. Ambient must generate buzz, and this doesn't have power for this, my friend.
