Very stolen!
The true story:
We presented the idea Panasonic Europe 2007.
It was finally rejected.
We released Tondeo 2008!
the daily madness
Again the same issue- No ethics in advertising.
THERE'S NO HEAVIER BURDEN THAN A GREAT POTENTIAL
Looks good :)
It works. Doesn't matter if it's been done before.

It matters.
Everything's been done before, it's just that we don't know it.
The original was done three years ago and it was in Cannes. You can't plead ignorance when it was in arguably the biggest and most prestigious advertising award show in the world.
it's close to the Panasonic one... maybe too close, but to me it's not 100% identical. They don't use the same elements

Apparently, it was published a while back, so maybe it precedes the Panasonic one, who knows...

Panasonic was 2009 and it was in Cannes. I don't think they waited three years to send this in to Ads of the World.
Looks good.
hahahahahaha,....
This campaign made it to Buzzfeed via Copyranter

DONE
It has been done five/six years ago by the agency...apparently nobody named in the credits works there anymore. Don't know why it's been uploaded now.
Considering the same team just posted four or five campaigns that were all ripped off from somewhere, I wouldn't be surprised if they no longer work there. As for this preceding the campaign in Cannes, I'm not buying it.
This Tondeo ad was not done before, it is from 2006, much earlier than the Panasonic campaign.

Yes its the other way round. The Publicis was first, the Panasonic ad stolen. The Tondeo was much earlier in 2006. Saw it also here.

Great Concept. And Publicis was first. Growing Poster campaign is the original.
Just searched in Canneslions Archive and found it there in 2007.
Or look up the internet before you judge.
NYF Archive goes back till 1996 and is free.
