all advertising is subliminal messaging in a way. subway is taking that fact and making a joke of it.

just by seeing their logofont, you see subway.

This could have been the tagline for a bigger campaign. As a single execution headline, it falls a little flat. Maybe because it isn't particularly subliminal or delivering much of a message.
