This is just a visual trick - hardly a big idea

the word is the submarine... te top part of the "b" is the thing to look out of the water so its remarking the important part...

everartz's picture 7590 pencils

so if they wrote the "s" in upper case then it will hide the virtual lens were supposed to see out of the water from, i guess this idea is a bit of a lame one.. if we want to consider it an idea.

Cannes likes periscopes. This was the press GP winner in 2006:

If I had done this I'd be embarrassed to tell someone it won at Cannes. That festival is quickly becoming a joke.

The lego one in 2006 was way better

Guest's picture

They could have used a different color... the first thing I thought was "yellow submarine".

I thought it meant the highlighter has a very thin tip? Since it can highlight the tip to "B", when normal highlighters have a very thick tip which would not be able to be precise enough to highlight a small portion of a letter like that

The periscope is where the submarine get's it's LIGHT from. (Besides electric light, of course.) But hard to get.

Guest's picture

what about the dot of 'i'? is it the football on the surface of water that periscope is unable to see?

Just with the "yellow" mark, the submarine turns into one of the most famous song in the world : yellow submarine, from the beatles... that works very well.
