Was the Jesus reference really a necessity?

Definitely not, but think of how much difference that one line has made. It's a good reflection of their brand, sure to offend some people, but will also gain the applause of their loyalists while gaining new consumer interest through PR stories about this; good or bad.

I keep seeing this creative shot down in blogs and ad sites because it's offensive... Lighten up, it's just an ad and unless you live under a rock this isn't anywhere near shocking.

Not great but not bad either.

I smell a naked bid for controversy masking average creative. In that sense, tiresome.

No rating.

What a steaming pile of tosh. But we are used to these blasphemous campaigns, coming mostly from New Zealand. I am really not religious. I just find this, as Bill said, "average creative". I'd even say below average.

Yep, masking average creative. Also, how can it offend Christians when they believe that Christ is alive and well? Weak work.

Pathetic & predictable. Mixing symbols of Satanism with Christianity?.. Another one of the 'square circles'.. And yes, it is insulting.

To be honest, I find it funny.
And it works.
And the fact that opinions vary on such a scale shows it hit the controversy mark, which in turn creates some buzz, which in turn generates interest.

Good, although the artwork is god-awful, so average.
