FirstBank: Restore your faith in free, Ashley

To promote free checking (which banks seldom offer any more), campaign opens by acknowledging how much consumers have come to distrust “free,” then asks, “what if free really meant free?” Concurrent with the advertising and targeting the same demo, FirstBank sponsors random, surprise, and undeniably free giveaways (500 delivery pizzas, 1500 lunch truck meals, over a hundred pedicab rides, two iPads), all tagged “Free Happens.”
