brilliant
good show :) i really like handmade stuff. the copy is too long.
the people in the cars driving by will not have the chance to read it.

i really like the concept but i think its very hard to read the copy
Love it . congrats to Leo Burnett UAE.
Nice idea, love the Salesman :-)
That's a pretty good suit man... he really knows his creative... UAE is fast becoming a creative powerhouse the likes the world has not seen since Brazil's gold era in advertising.
good idea.. hope it will not washed by rain.
Rain is rare in UAE..

No rain in the uae
may be it is a new and creative idea but sure it wouldn't save that much money in printing, specially after getting that talented illustrator !!
brilliant. they sure know how to speak their mind.
how many billboards like this will they put up?

A: One.
(It's called viral. Miss that lecture?)
.... it means that a hand-draw is cheaper than an art work made on computer?
because of ideas like this I can not charge for my illustrations worth the price.
beautiful illustration, but... stupid idea
you have a point. but that illustrator may be a an in-house or something? plus, it's the printing they pointed out as expensive.
wow!..impressive..
Nice work....:)
bravo!

Ah, the old "we did our advertising on the cheap so you save money" idea. Been done a million times, but this IS an interesting variation.
The "we save money" idea not sooooo olllldddddddddddd.
just brilliant
This goes against the rule of outdoor advertising that says the less words the better when it comes to copy. In this case it's not even legible. I very much doubt that anyone driving by can read this, in blue no less.
Break the Rules media guy....
stay working for the municipality :-)
The idea of making a cheap ad to save you money's been done a lot.
Good point made by CommandZ saying that the copy is long. within 3/4 sec exposure, you don't get the message. Btw, due to novelty, some amount of WOM is expected which will help. Idea has novelty but not may not be as effective.

Haha, and who will have the time to read all that small handwriting? Not the drivers for sure.
So was that an attempt to create a viral? Hmm, I won't forward this.
brilliant
Like the execution and viral objectives here... but that's a tired old headline strategy.
i agree the headline is really bad and long, i guess it's part of the concept because the Salesman created the ad...
nice concept....
You can debate about the cost, that it's legible or not, etc.. One thing is sure, it's noticed by many people, all talk about it, all have their say and opinion. And according to me that's the purpose of an ad campaign, make sure people talk about your product or ad. So good job I would say.
Very nice!!!! Love it :)
Awesome! There should be more old-school hand-painted ads! Illustrator´s name is Sasan Saidi, btw. A Dubai located graphic designer.
Bien fait Mono. ;-)
I guess it's actually not directed to people in their cars (who will have little chances to read the copy) but to all those who will check the video on-line.
Cool!
brilliant wok done by illustrator but copy is too long
