the idea's allright...it's been done before...not just for air france...i myself did similar ads for jet airways...it's not really a cannes winner...it's more like a scapegoat when ur client servicing dude and your cd want you to hammer out some ads really really fast...coz the client's breathing down their neck...hehe

I was just amused because of the irony with respect to this brand.
Air India is in a heavy debt of 4000 crores who are not able to pay their staff their salaries on time. They are requesting the government for a bailout.
And then you see this ad. It just cracks me up!
As for the ad, I think the concept's sweet!

Just because you show a woman in dark skin she is supposed to from India? Irrespective of whether the person's from Mumbai or Bangalore, he/she is dark! Wow! I'm SHOCKED that despite being an Indian agency you cast stereotypes like these. There are "white" Indians also you know? But obviously it wouldn't have suited your convenience.
I dont work on the creative side. I am perhaps the least creative of all living creatures on earth. But after going through some of the ads here, I think if these idiots can make their living in an area that is supposed to be creative, I could have tried my luck too.
