Adams Outdoor Advertising: Adams A*s campaign

Get you a*s up here!
Show off your a*s!
We'll make your a*s huge!

To capture the attention of potential advertisers, we used what at first seems like a bold and potentially off-putting message. Upon closer inspection, it turns out to be a practical call-to-action.

It ain't that hard. What character would you fill in on the *? An S or a D? See what words it makes ;-)

Reminds me of a joke which I won't tell because it's pretty bad once you translate it, but I like this idea =) People who drive by might not get it instantly I like it.

A pity though they only played with the word 'ass', could have more variations I suppose.

Agree with you there: It's a pity that they only played with that one word. The think tank was more tank than think that day.

This is moronic. Any ad could come down to a bunch of veiled curse words. Typically the good creatives find other ways to get the public's attention.

Has the simplicity and twist of simple word game puzzles which we can relate to.

Might work well for the passers by. Most importantly the advertisers will notice. Question is, what impression of the agency playing with 'ass' will they bear returning to the office? Well, I think, worth a risk.

Some people see the creativity in it, some don't! A very creative idea with a little edge, something to throw off the stupid people in this world.....

Great job & well done!

This is pretty clever actually. I think people can take a joke, and if they can't they probably don't want that client's business anyways.
