Man, nice way to go "green" for a product that lights up our cigs.

Shut up

We're going to need more lube.

It would be nice if Ivan could upload the swf on these online ads so we could actually see the ad in action instead of just thumbnails.

hm, is this sort of 'green' really relevant for zippo? i mean, one tiny disposable lighter has lit, lets say, a thousand cigarettes? THAT's a lot of waste.

better shut up about the environment all together when it comes to smoking. my opinion

It's not a green message, it's a message that Zippo has always touted. I own a Zippo and I don't even smoke.

This doesn't say "green" to me. It just says that the rest of the lighters are garbage. As in "not good".
"Green?"
"Super green!"

That being said, I like the campaign. It's simple and to the point. I like the copy "disposable. Just another word for garbage", but I would have liked to see a few more like that instead of another print with a slightly different execution.
The banner, on the other hand, is very lazy work. It just takes the print and adds "click here". Come on, we've moved passed this point with banners already!

I like it. It works on two levels, that its not as wasteful, as that it implies all other lighters are rubbish compared to zippo. Nice work.

We're going to need more lube.

This is pretty good.

I like the idea. The placement of the text bugs me though. And I would like it better if the top of the first picture should be in the bottom of the second, just like part of the second appears in the third. It would give more of an idea of how deep the pile of garbage is, and would relate the first photo to the other two.

I couldn't expect less from Zippo, they have a straight message and I very real approach. I would definitely go for it and I would enjoy seeing this banner hanging on some ceiling hooks, they internet shouldn't be the only form of displaying.
