This widget is cool but they shot themselves in the foot with that site. They give people to many reasons to give up and do something else.
I suffered through the long wait time.
I gave them my personal information (and there was no way to opt out of "newsletters, information of new product launches, promotions, games and special displays")
I trudged on because of the promise of wofty joy, but alas, no wofty for me.
I have to postpone my wofty joy until they send me a confirmation email, which I'm sure will be followed by copious amounts of spam.
It's disappointing because this is a cool concept that will never work because it was handled by people who don't understand how the internet works. Look at any successful viral piece, the one constant is that it is easy to access. Internet users won't spend this much time to play with a wofty. There's plenty of other entertaining things out there that are easier to get to.
Couldn't agree more. Waited for 5 minutes for the site to load. Loading stopped at 91%. Closed the window.
