At first I wasn't sure. But you guys managed to make it somewhat entertaining.
I don't like Jen as an actress, but this is somewhat entertaining indeed (the dirty dancing part is my favorite). This has been one of the top viewed videos on YouTube for days.
I found it to be really funny.
Could this be any more painful to watch. Where is the creative aspect of this commercial or at least the connection with the product. This is only doing good on youtube because of the use of the celebrity. Shame on you Rachel. Too forced, you guys tried too hard. Boring montage. Not funny at all. Such a dumb move for such a smart product. I guess the target is morons who want to feel smart.

The game is not about getting a product known... Its about making a point.
It's about giving consumers reasons to buy this product instead of the competitors.
Its about really connecting people with the product to drive sales.
If this is great advertising... i just lost hope in advertising.

Funny as fuck all
It cocks a snook at viral while going Meta about virality; funny. Throws a mountain of money at every star it can drag on board; also funny. Has a perfect title, is filled to the brim with self-awareness, nods all over the place and gets the brand known. I'd say that's pretty successful as an ad.
Though a white T-shirt and more water towards the end wouldn't have hurt.

too long, too boring
its a viral... not a mainstream TVC... its meant to be funny and not always related to targeting product sales... it works for me... coz now I am never gonna forget the brand (be it even if it was for Jen) - and in any case, that was what the brand intended to do :)
