Pretty sad viewing this as it affects my wife.
I find these 'The Day I Found Out' ads extremely depressing. As soon as I hear the opening 'it was on [date],' I reach for the remote and hit the mute button. I can't even listen to them anymore.
Black and white .. no color .. no hope. Pathetic looking people .. nothing upbeat. Sad.
Add to that, they are being totally overplayed. For a period of time, it seemed the station was running them at almost every commercial break. That added to the annoyance factor.
The Alliance is a great thing .. it pulls together the best there is. There *IS* hope there .. so show it.
@guest: Huh?! Did you even watch a video?!? They are really moving stories about finding your way the moment after you find out you have cancer?? (And they are all in color...) Its all about hope!
