ROM: Romanians are smart

If you search the internet with the phrase “Romanians are”, the suggestions automatically generated by Google are extremely negative for Romanians: “Romanians are rude”, “Romanians are thieves” etc. We decided to change this until December 1st, when it’s actually Romania’s national Day. This can be changed if we have as many people as possible – from Romania and abroad – searching the internet for “ Romanians are smart” or “Romanians are beautiful” or other such positive phrases.

It's a good idea, but it didn't seem to work. I'm not getting "smart" on google.

Hehe, very clever of them to use the same style for their case movie from last year. You know... the one that won FOUR Grand Prix's in Cannes.
Again it calls on the inner patriots of Romania, and it's a clever idea. Bit of a shame they didn't implement the product anywhere - but after last year's campaign it might need no further introduction :)

I've got mixed feelings about this one. It's a valid fix for a valid problem but it really doesn't do anything at all...
Smart idea. Still not working though unless you coax googke with an 's'. Then it's right in there between stupid and scum! :S
The campaign is ongoing, we're right in the middle of it. We hope to get the positive suggestions about Romanians by the end of the month, and offer this as a gift for Romania's national Day, on December 1st. So we can still use some help, we're not done yet :)
