Irrelevant? I disagree. 1) It's the holiday season 2) It's a holiday movie and 3) I'm sure the studio won't mind extra DVD sales. Any viral campaign that lives this long is hugely successful!
it's not for the movie "Elf," it's for Office Max. So yes, pretty much irrelevant, but a fun way to interact with a brand nonetheless.

That's true. My girlfriend sent it to me and I thought it was hilarious but didn't really notice that it was for office max. Seeing it here piqued my curiosity though and I actually wanted to see what product it was for.
