95% of people here would know that lynx and axe are the same thing.
the fact that i would never open an email with that subject line (as a guy) is a very relevant comment though.
the idea: they probably knew the holes it had in it, but thought "fu*% it" and went ahead and did it anyway.
that will be its downfall.
that being said, the chick is hot.
she looks like a bad soapy star from australia in the 90's.

consider how inexpensive per impression an email campaign is, and then imagine they send this to a list of say only 10 million email addresses. If only .5% of the recipients open the email, then their reminder message has hit 50,000 people. Then consider that most email campaigns reach between 3-5% of people. any way you cut it, the number of impressions they get is worth the cost. its a great ad - the target audience is young men (and even some women buying it for their boys), the readers of maxim, stuff, fhm, etc and you have a formula for sucess...

don't know if it's that easy to get "only" 10 million working email addresses of the right target audience.
be that as it may.
i'm just not sure about this kind of email advertising since most people either use a spam filter or get spammed day by day so they would most likely not read this specific one.

we all love to comment because a) it's such a subjective matter, b) most of us are male and reading other comments is appealing to our primordial sense of competition and c) we're all smartasses

believe me, i know what i'm talking about.
