Pan Macmillan launched an interactive book trailer in the run-up to the publication of debut literary thriller, Kiss Me First by Lottie Moggach. Developed with creative digital agency, FIT Digital, the Facebook app pulls in user's information from their profile, including data from their newsfeed, location updates and friends list. It then plays a trailer tailored to the user's individual Facebook identity, showing messages being typed and conversations happening online as though with the viewer. The novel is centered around a young woman who adopts someone else's online identity, with their permission, posing as them in the digital world. The campaign has been very successful with over 6000 visits and social mentions on the first few days of launch.
