It's a sequel to the most popular Resize a Room banner:

Nice. Very nice.
BRAVO.
how do you play your fav music?... do you have to choose from your own list? can someone pls explain the connection?you buy this to store your music? if yes, quite lame
Hm.. though I really like the invention, I am having doubts to what it should tell me. If I select my digital music, doesn;t that mean that I already found a place to store my music: on my harddisk?
I could be wrong, but imho this seems like a great idea, used for the wrong product.
You're right Jonh, but who really loves music doesn't listen to music only with his laptop
I have a lot of CDs at home
yeah.. but doesnt this just reinforce (by playing music on my comp) that i dont need cds at home?
seems to work directly against the product.
isnt it ironic that you have to pick a digital mp3 in an ad for a CD shelve?!
Niice!
oooooooh.... very goooooooooooooood
it doesn't say anything to me
Good technology, wrong product.
Maybe the copy should read: "Choose your track from your future furniture." someting like that.
Come on people it's like listening to an 80 year old person, it is no big secret or a modern thing that anyone who buys a CD uploads it to his laptop instead of carrying it everywhere. Obviously this ad is directed to people who still like to buy CD's, that's a good market they are trying to recapture here. Great idea, for a selected market only, but that's what makes it so great.
is it supposed to be great?
ohoooo!!!! very good idea.
I do not understand what is the reason this banner like so much.
I find it boring and dull.
I like the cleverness of the innovation. The real relevance is a lil dodgey though. A brilliant idea probably misplaced.
This is terrible and terribly boring. What's wrong with you people?
awesome interactive bosss thodu fatang
hatts offf
bravo, very good and fresh idea (dunno if it was used before)
i mean : this the simple way to make fun with young people to go to ikea :)
Come on! Ikea's Resize a Room banner was a great piece of creative. What is so great about this ad? It's a cheap gimmick that adds nothing. As if a static empty bookcase is enough to get a user to interact in the first place.
The resize the room banner was amazing- this is lackluster at best. Why would I play my music through a banner ad- that's why I have Itunes. A true example of trying too hard. Ikea is normally very savvy with their ads and this just seems like a very rushed idea.
amazing
This is pretty dumb. If I wanted to hear a song while I was browsing the Internet I would play it from iTunes. I have no interest in searching through my harddrive to locate an MP3, then waiting as it uploads, then listening to it through a banner ad. What's the point of that? Make me work, distract me, for the "novelty" of hearing a song that's already on my computer?
Agreed. I don't get why people think this is such a great idea.
hmmmm ok..... creative i dont believe
