Aides: Sexy Fingers

With just a finger, you can also test for HIV

The new AIDES campaign, all about rhythm and technicolor is acting as a decisive argument for an important matter: Rapid HIV testing (results in 20 minutes or less) . Full of colors, energy, and originality, the message is simple: one finger is enough to play, but also to get tested for HIV.

I hope my kids will never see that world.

it took me 10 years to work up the courage to get tested. before that, i was certain i was going to die... and i didn't want to know.

How does this relate to the finger? And why are there testicles hung up?!
And I agree with Tommy G.........that's messed up...

I meant about finding a cure for HIV. I hope humans in the future will be able to eradicate this problem.

I don't understand it, I don't think I even really like it, but I am intrigued by it.

Do you ever get tested for HIV, mate?

Oh, your kids have already seen that world on TV or in music clips ;)
That's not the point, here is an application totally hand drawing, nothing really dirty or shocking.
For once an agency makes a fresh campaign for a cause, open your mind.

no_name...member for 23 a ten...talking about how fresh the campaign is...No_name is not anonymous...just use one from the credits. :)

I quite like the campaign though...but i feel that what stay in mind is: sex is fun. Or worst: HIV test is easy now, so have unsafe fun sex.

To me this ad just stinks. I do not like the art or the presentation at all

Gotta agree with 'not sure'. The images read xxx BennyHill meets School of Rock meets the card game Memory. Looks like the campaign is saying feel free to stick your finger anywhere kiddies then get your finger tested and see what you come up with, like its an erotic science project game with possible fatal results and I can't find anything funny or colorfully amusing about HIV/AIDS testing.

I'm not sure I agree or not with the campaign, you're right "not sure" and "Myonie".
But what I say is, for once we don't see something which scares, it's pretty cool.
So, we must continue our sexual life and yes, we can keep on having fun with sex. Everybody knows the risks now.
The message is just : "Now, you can get tested with your finger". And not "have safe sex, use a condom".

"Everybody knows the risks now" is not true. Sadly. And any communication around Aids should keep that in mind.
"Now, you can get tested with your finger" was obviously the, the message is more something that "It's fun and easy to have sex. It's fun and easy to get tested"...and back to my first mixed feelings.

I tried it. It failed. It was extremely tedious and no information anywhere.
It's time consuming and the user get very little in return.

the hard pictures are justified by the message
