I don't feel any connection between this film and the brand. Guinness has lost its way with this spot and the friends playing wheelchair basketball.

No. Did you ignore the first 20 seconds of the commercial and the voice over? These guys are all farmers and factory workers. They have shitty jobs. But after work, they clean themselves off and turn into proper gentlemen. It's celebrating the fact that nobody can tell us who we are. We define ourselves. These men embody that spirit of individuality, because, regardless of their job or wealth, they dress with class and live life fully.
