In Switzerland, about 20% of the population suffers from hay fever between January and August. During that season people try to avoid the outdoors, where they think they will encounter pollen. But the truth is, pollen spreads widely indoors too. To raise awareness about pollen’s indoor effects, Publicis Switzerland has run an unconventional advertising campaign for the pharmaceutical company Sanofi and their allergy products. The Pollen Lamps were displayed in different places to illustrate pollen dispersal. People not only know what pollen looks like now, they can even hang it proudly at home.
