Not loving these. Why that weird shape for the picture?

Yeah I don't get the shape.

That's because the media is sun blockers for windshields of cars. Rookies.

A sun blocker in Pittsburgh? I haven't seen people use one of those in years. This media is about as relevant as a "Baby On Board" sign.

-YISI!

rookies? the rookies are the people who used this un-original device for a stupid campaign. i wonder if the "rookies"comment came from, i don't know, Pittsburg?

A good idea? What does a rear-view mirror have to do with a drive-in theater.

what does a sun blocker have to do with a drive-in? At least the rearview mirror wouldn't actually prevent you from watching the movie! Anyway, I guess we can all agree that it is just poor advertising.

obviously the sun blocker wouldn't be used at the actual drive-in. if it's an ad, wouldn't it be intended to promote the drive-in theater OUTSIDE it? gosh, people can be so stupid

what ever it is, the point is that it is confuse and unclear, or maybe is focused on the target

ah, pittsburg. such a hotbed of advertising!

Been used before - yes
Never been to Pittsburgh, so I don't know how the sun is over there - maybe it won't be seen as much, because sun blockers aren't used as often.
Maybe if any of the Advertising Guru's in this forum passes in front of a car with this sun blocker, he'd say any of the comments listed above..

But considering that the majority of the population is not among the advertising community, trust me.. this will, AT LEAST, get a smile from the regular Joe in Pittsburgh (or anywhere else for that matter)

Isn't that one of the goals of advertising:Reach and leave a footprint on the brand's target? (which may or may not include Advertising Guru's)

This won't win an award, that's for sure.

what about a scene seen from the rear-view of the car just in front....?
