If there were some kind of magnifying property to the business card, it would be a different story. But just having a bird in the binocular view - a bird printed on the card itself - is a bit nowhere. Who is going to go and hold up the card against the sky in order to see what it does? But if you did, would you get the exact same shade of blue, I wonder?!! Or have I missed something here?
It was (..) also self-explanatory.
I guess that explains it all.
Well, in that case, I don't like it at all. Also, if you really *must* make ads for clients who you don't actually have - no problem (in my opinion) - but then they have to be really, truly stand-out stuff.
Thought this was for MasterCard.
yeah me too ! for everything else there's mastercard!
not new...."old idea"...the brand is "transparent"
When it comes time to choose an ornithologist, there are many to choose from, so it's important to be memorable.
like, what would you need an ornithologist for,
so that you have to pick up yellow pages, huh?
I always love attempts to be memorable on a biz card. The concept seems nearly there, but lacking something I can't quite put my finger on.

Let me see if I have this right... there is no bird on the actual business card, just a die-cut, binocular-lens hole? Would it not be better to print a bird onto Acetate, and use that to fill the space?
mmm nice idea..
If you have to do it, you might as well do it right.,
