Cute girls if they weren't airbrushed into oblivion.
Cool concept. Love the beauty meets bruises idea.
Nice and clean design... but an unfortunate victim of Photoshop overkill!
lousy photoshop. it wrecks the images.
Think it for a while.
Then, in anytime, it will come to your mind as an idea.
you guys that are bashing the photoshop work, ever hear of a pinup girl? They're supposed to be a fantasy and not look like every woman walking down the street.
Cool!
Though the artworks seem so artificial.

Indian Ads Update
Yeah, the images are made to look like paintings on purpose.
Well, they've done a lousy job at that. It just looks like lame PS work.
yaa.. quite lively for that time of the month

I thought this site was for ads of the world not calenders of the world. Seems like they could do good
ads for a roller derby team. How hard is it to do anything for a roller derby team?
cmart,
Calm down.
The printed version is a great work of art. Yes, photoshopped, but appropriate for the context of what the designers were going for. There is a lot lost on this calendar by only viewing the web resolution. This was used as advertising for our league. We have 4 teams and one undefeated travel team. Bob77, this is a roller derby team. Memphis Roller Derby.
If you want a printed version you can pick it up at http://www.memphisrollerderby.com. They are $10.00. We are non-profit and this calendar has helped us raise funds for our travel team. Come out to a game sometime!

I love this calendar! I'd love to see our league do the same, but it would be some drama deciding who goes into the calendar!!!
Thanks Soul Eater! Actually, the girls were chosen by the photographer, Tony Pearce. Archer Malmo provided him source to view pics of all the girls and he was told to choose 3 from each team. If a skater he choose wasn't available there was an alternate.
At least to my knowledge, that is generally how it was decided.
it looks fab, you guys bagging it are missing the point - it is MEANT to look like that?!?! dummies...
