I find the QR code useless here.
Here's a nice invitation from Heineken: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctqG1NJ6Aic

@Nike - More accurately, no one uses QR codes. Period.

I don't dig QR codes, but this is awesome.

The idea starts off with a good intention, just ends up no where.

Not nearly interesting enough to engage consumers. If anything, I would be annoyed.

Do they mean "A first of it is kind" or "A first of it has kind"?

Not bad, but I have a hard time believing BBDO submitted this:

* its kind

- couldn't find a less awkward way of saying "...and get talked about in bars" ?

- I would think the agency of record for Guinness should know those are called pints, or pint glasses. A Guinness cup sounds like the championship trophy given to the winner of a pint chugging contest.

Stolen idea/concept from http://relogik.com/cipher a 2009 Red dot award winner

And he borrowed this concept elsewhere. Nothing special about this whatsoever.
