Business cards were typeset on cloth and tied in a knot. Clients would loosen the knot to reveal the name and information of the massage therapist.

Why would anyone loosen the knot to revel the message? Rather than just throw it away?

partly agree. i think they should have made a knot that's easy to open. that would give the impression of a good massage. this knot feels like pain

why would anyone open a crumpled piece of paper to read the mssg.?

It's not paper. I wouldn't unknot paper but I would unknot a piece of cloth like this. So it would work for me.

'cause it has been personally handed by derek michael to them!

Nice. People will be curious and open it. No problem there.

I really like this. I'm just wondering how many people would throw the knotted piece of material away, without realising what it actually is.

if you want to get picky...
the person with the back pain shouldn't be loosening the knot. they should be doing nothing while the therapist removes the knot. the cloth comes out of left field too.

nice thought though.

Oh, the old rubber business card, this idea has been done to death.

I haven't seen anything like this, and if you've have, instead of just claiming so, post a link. This works well for me as a back pain sufferer, I quickly pick up on the "get the knots out" idea.

Cool card.
Cards are usually handed out by the business or the person so no problems for me with the "why open it." Its a no brainer.
