The Brief: Design a commemorative gift for HH Sh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the graduation day.
The Challenge: Come up with an idea that expresses the vision of his highness and emphasizes on the 40th UAE Union Anniversary, tying that with the outstanding educational role of the UAE University for more than 35 years.
The Idea: A cristal piece, with the UAEU logo inside it, filled with sand from the 7 different emirates. An additional piece is added to explain the historical places the sands were taken from, and a synopsis for each one of them.
