It's a media idea, not a creative idea. If the bin was somehow turned into a place you'd eat, it might actually work.

You have a point there. This wouldn't work so well in India where our trash bins are way too messy. And who'd want to gag on smelly trash in order to read an advertisement? But that's a fine thought there. http://kettleandmug.blogspot.com

That may be the case in India but in western Europe most people can read and write, even the homeless.
