I dont think its an ad, i think its a business card. I dont know why they've laid it out like that though pretty neat if it is just a business card

Correct. It's a business card. The shape is similar to those clips they use to close bags to keep stuff fresh I think. Btw, here are a bunch of great business card ideas.
