i dont know if this concept is used somewhere else or not.

but yeah it has been used a lot of times in Delhi( India).
recently a nelwy opened Nirulas( a restaurant chain) outlet in one of the commercial areas in Delhi used it.

so the only thing different is "stumbling" steps.

Yes this does look familiar. I have seen footsteps i India too but surely not at a Nirula's outlet. The only thing different here is the zig zag path, people getting "talli" just thinking about "daaru"?

It's not the same concept without the stumbling footsteps. I don't think you understand the concept. Stumbling footsteps...new wine bar... come on.

Is this so that all the alchoholics will be able to find it? Just what you want, to sit down for coffee surrounded by drunks. I think there's a logic problem here. I'm sorry but I don't think all ambients are good like most people.

the problem is that you get out of a bar like that, not in.

the problem is that the footsteps are leading to the bar...
er.. guess that's what you were saying, right..? never mind

i think its a lil forced.

~ old habits die hard, older ones never do ~

The point is it piques curiosity. I think it'd be hard not to follow the drunken footsteps. I'm sure the restaurant was happy with the ambient. Good work.

Just because something works doesn't mean it's necessarily a good idea. This is bread & butter.

Playing creative director here: remove the sign and make the footsteps go the other direction. When people get to Soma, have the sign as a payoff. I think people would follow the footprints just out of curiousity.

I wouldn't be surprised if they broached that idea and the client liked it better this way. Or not.

idea is really old. new shops do this in malls all the time. people rarely pay attention to them and unless you went out without any plans whatsoever, chances of actually going through and in are slim.

Meh.

i think is a bad idea... wine bar is not equal to drunks. or maybe the client could say "i don't wanna link my place whit drunks".
