Guess who saw the tennis ad? Nice copy lads, but no metal for originality. I notice a lack of names as well, obviously nervous to announce your nomination for photocopiers of the week.
Snowman. You are clearly a bit of a codpiece. Not only is it a real client of the company who posted it but it was done for a real competition. Never in a million years would an agency or client have their name on a scam piece. It ran.
As for the merits of being done for tennis, in tennis they don't have boards telling you to be quiet which makes me think that was the scam ad. Whether or not it was copied after seeing the scam version, only they know so don't waste your time and carry on getting drunk Dave. Might be the only thing you're good at.
Every other piece entered by Lowe has credited the creatives, with the exception of this one. Ask yourself why. I agree with your comments that it was probably done, but it does look like they were inspired/stolen. As for the only thing I'm good at, hmmm you obviously have bone to pick. And yes, agencies often have their names on scam pieces, it's happened before and it will happen again, runs once and it qualifies.

They did this for the tennis as well.
Was the tennis one real or a scam?
Not that it matters, I think it's a fair use of ambient media, but wonder how effective it would actually be.
