SirFar's picture 143 pencils

Very nice!

addyhoch10's picture 2603 pencils

don't think this is a real one.
would be a nice idea if it wasn't based on a profoundly, common misunderstanding of schizophrenia. the phenomenon shown in this ambient thing is called dissociative identity disorder and has nothing to do with schizophrenia. for further explanations please check

dear responsibles of this ambient idea:
do your homework better next time.

deep_tracy's picture 501 pencils

it's saying hallucination not split personality. remember a beautiful mind? that was schizophrenia and it was like this.

addyhoch10's picture 2603 pencils

ok ok, you're right, i was wrong. i thought it was split personality but it is persecution complex.
i apologise to everyone, the agency included. i was just too dumb to get it. mea culpa, mea magna culpa

ivan's picture

Wow! Admitting to being wrong publicly takes a strong character. Total respect addyhoch10!

addyhoch10's picture 2603 pencils

thx ivan

No that's just a visual hallucination representation which could be found in many disorders, more likely schizophrenia (and by the looks of this image I'd say paranoid schizophrenia) than dissociative disorder. Dissociative disorder barely has frank hallucinations as such, it is more of a detachment to reality than a misrepresentation .

Guest's picture

Oh I mixed up Dissociative identity disorder than Dissociative disorder. Oh well comment still applies.

Nearer's picture 22 pencils

a schizophrenic usually suffer from dissociative identity disorder

addyhoch10's picture 2603 pencils

"Despite its etymology, schizophrenia is not synonymous with dissociative identity disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder or "split personality"; in popular culture the two are often confused." (source: Wikipedia)

if you don't believe wikipedia, ask your psychiatrist.

Nearer's picture 22 pencils

Never said they are sinonimous. Read again my post.

what happens when I use the other basin?

bknowlden's picture 3435 pencils

It would be cool if the eyes were a lenticular and followed you as you walked through the restroom.

act's picture 531 pencils

yes lenticular could've made it better, but its nice still.

hadisyriani's picture 163 pencils

guys i feel like i am in a "medical cases" website!!!!

the idea is nice.

now move on.

meng's picture 54 pencils

freaky. but cool.

cooties's picture 180 pencils

i think two or more people living inside one person's mind is not schizophrenia. ad is good. but medical advertising has to be correct. facts should be checked before doing something like that. or you'll end up doin' something
that will reinforce the myth.

drunk dave's picture 1060 pencils

Both of us like the idea...

ad-icto's picture 70 pencils

To all that, a question, has someone who suffers this disease the brilliancy of being conciente of it??

addyhoch10's picture 2603 pencils

you mean if a schizo is aware of beeing schizo?
i know a schizo who knows he's schizo. i'd say most schizos know they're schizo.
anyway, when a real schizo sees this in a public restroom it would definitely freak him the fuck out. not sure if this is good or not. but i won't say anything negative about this ad again.

cooties's picture 180 pencils

what is 'conciente'?
