Yeah, lets put originality into the bin and talk about effectiveness all day. But if you do that, always repeat what has been done before, effectiveness is going to fall as well. So please don't underestimate creativity.
And yes, if GM creates a car / technology very similar to what Ford has done, we DO tell to GM: Done!
