I like the concept... Nothing about the sign it self says "hip hop" too me though. But still, this would be fun to see and interact with.
because design students are full of it
better made it a 'high-five'
---
...and let the poets cry themselves to sleep. And all their tearfull words would turn back into steam
a "high-five" is innately hip hop now? lame-o. John lame-os
nope, but it sounds alot better than, 'give me five' whaddup with that duuuude

Yeah man! Give me five doesn't represent hip-hop. Lame idea.

yeah, it's a bit out of date. the "knuckle bump" or man hug are all the rage these days.
I like it, sorry but in france a give me could be quite hip hop......THat's better than the bible thing
.................
I'd prefer "gimme 5"
Anything to do high-five is decidedly un-hip-hop. The guys who came up with this should have gotten a little more immersed in hip-hop culture, since that's the audience they're trying to speak to.
Ooohh, this feels like a hip hop ad that a 40 year old, generationally clueless, and extremely suburban designer would make. I bet choice #2 was something along the lines of "Slide me some skin, soul brother!"
Try again.
Now honestly, when was the last time you pushed a public elevator button with the "palm" of your hand?
I'm a "germaphobe" and would never touch it with my hand or even a finger. I always use my car key. :)
This would've been a fun idea for the movie promotion of Borat with his "pet phrase"...
i push with my hand. and i do like this idea except the art direction doesn't look like radio station.
