Do you have to run usually at this station to catch the train? Or what is the relevance?

Ivan,

I think the tracks on the floor are made for the characters on the pillars.
Nike tried to create an image of a track field with the athletes in action.

Its funny that ivan asked that. But if you have actually been to that station, yes, alot of people do run there. This particular station is a transition between different train lines, so many people get off one train, run across to get on the next one since it is so packed.

Its a change/transit station. People do rush even it's not peak hours to change to the next train
