McDonald's: Nights
As every restaurants have their closing hours. We feel that this is a great opportunity for McDonald’s to communicate the new 24 hours service. McDonald’s places a night image of its restaurant onto the pull-down shutter of various restaurants. Once the shutter is pulled down after the restaurant’s operating hours, passer bys will see an image of a McDonald’s in late hours. This is to deliver the message that while other restaurants are closed, one can enjoy good meal at McDonald’s 24 hours a day.

It's not a McDonalds. Another restaurant is closed but this installation reminds every passerby: if you are hungry, McDonalds are open all night. Still I wonder how hard it is to convince owners to advertise another restaurant at their door. I know they are not competing in that very moment, but...

I have no idea what the competitive situation is like in Thailand, but I agree that this would never work as described in my neck of the woods.

its not fake....i have seen it since i live in thailand....most of them are in siam square in the city centre....they dont open 24/7 anyway and the products are different.....and they get extra money for advertising it for mc....why would they not do it???

nice try, but confusing. Someone will walk by see a sign for Thai Noodles, but then see an image of Mc Donalds underneath. First thought is probably, "Oh, they changed this to a freaking Mc Donalds. How sad, I liked those noodles! Damn American companies."
