it'll work if someone just happens to hold a newspaper at just the right height as someone just happens to look at them as they pass by. so it probably made sense to a total of 10 people. not to mention the fact the guy has 3 hands.

kc_brock's picture 694 pencils

3 hands. that's funny.

jup, these ones only really work if the page is in exactly the right position at exactly the right time. done to death too.

k-rocka's picture 430 pencils

Its probably just an insert with news content inside - not a front page.

Nthngmn's picture 632 pencils

respectable newspaper? It's Metro. Borderline tabloid.

bigbadfatmadafaka's picture 488 pencils

This is cool, even if it will never be on the exact right spot, people will at least try to place it just for the fun of it. Nice idea.

Laurent's picture 295 pencils

the chances of this really working are probably like ... one in ten thousand!! sorry but it's more than obvious that the picture above was shot with a model. You might stand a chance if you propose the newspaper in a funny spy movie (coz they're always hiding behind newspapers)... I think i'm hungry!

Totto's picture 683 pencils

so is this an ambient or what.. will somebody explaaaain.

Intelligent ads are the need of the hour.

ivan's picture

Yes it is. On the top you see the ad itself. Once it is placed in the newspaper which is 2 full pages wrap it looks like the reader is eating the burger.

jennywhx's picture 1144 pencils

i usually fold newspaper when i am reading. but this looks pretty funny for me, even it won't actually works.

Beatboxer's picture 1523 pencils

I think it's good.

ellehcimeo's picture 3536 pencils

We get the Metro here in Toronto and they often have a covering page with an interesting use of the media type of ad.
They actually get quite creative with it, sometimes they use velum! And then sometimes it's a useless intrusion.
I wish I'd seen this one! I like the application for the media.

wgeddes's picture 300 pencils

No Metro in USA, at least in Colroado (was supposed to be a reply above)

not a bad idea, but I'm sorry to say it looks fake, fake, fake!
and I agree with everyone else... for this to work, you would have to hold the newspaper at the exact right height.
