learn to draw or LEARN TO WRITE?

LEARN TO READ

A tag is a name, a name concists of letters, letters are written, therefore the sticker should read "write" instead of draw in my opinion. But then it wouldn't make sence, because this is written very readable, you probably just don't like the typography. Which makes me wonder about communication, graffiti tactics are omnipresent in advertising nowadays, graffiti type lettering is also everywhere, and most people over 30 grew up with it and actually like it, look at fashion, look everywhere! I think this is old-fashioned, and a bit narrowmidned and misses the point completely. It's toy... ;)

lets get really nit-picky.... how about learn to paint? Normally tags don't require an underdrawing.

Although I'm not a fan of the swearing the insane aggression does make me giggle sometimes.
You tell that guest, guest!

I like the ad, graffiti artists have a big passion for what they do (I do believe all the above 'art' is total trash) so good ad placement.

Guest's picture

i just can't stand that stupid boring comment. all they do is talk trash and suggest nothing.

I fucking LOVE it :)

Says what it does, makes the call for urban beautification, while also taking the piss out of inner-city gang-member-shitbags. Makes me LOL.

The guy who was hired to run around the back alleys of downtown and put these stickers up must've a) been STARVING or b) had balls of solid rock :)

Sorry, but doesn't an arrow pointing to something imply that this is what you'll learn?

Learn to draw - with arrow pointing to 'bad graffiti'... that doesn't say to me 'this is shit you can learn to do better'. It says 'this is what you can learn to draw'.

Basically the arrow ruins the concept.

By the way: if spraying paint on a wall is illegal, then what about this sticker? HYPOCRIT!!!

Graffiti is not for the fainthearted, those who continue after 15/16 generally step up their work and abilities. others continue because they have nothing else in their lives, just like fucking up the system or want to hold onto their youth.

Draftsmen are at work across our cities, and they were once just as bad or even worse. it takes time and commitment. Like the man said 'graffiti' culture has been eaten up by nearly every industry looking to tap into the kids!

this ad works perfect in my country :)
