Clever thought, but I guess this is fake. Admittedly, I would flip out when even dentists start to cover their walls with advertising...

one set of dentist office retouched to look like 4. no sticker egdes. or they all screened on the ceiling? i don't think so. production and retouch skills have to be fixed, not the the teeth.

another try-to-hard campaign. sorry.

Is not real… “You shouldn’t be here”, c’mon… nice idea for media.

i can see some dentists who are more business oriented going for something like this. like mine. they are all getting a bit more agressive on the selling front, and making money front.
a message saying "you shouldn't be here" probably wouldn't fly though. probably more like "your visit could have been shorter if you'd have used Listerine" or "helping your visits be shorter - Listerine"

So Mr. Dentist we have this idea. We put these stickers here in your ceiling and you wont have clients anymore. ( ) Yes ( ) No ( ) Maybe

Dentists make extra money, producer makes money and clients remain...
I don't believe this product is that magical...

What's with listerine ads (this is the second I've seen on this site) making the claim that if you use it, you won't have to go to the dentist anymore?!? No mouthwash product has ever, ever made the claim that they are a replacement for a visit to the dentist.

In the one image, the guy is having a needle injected, so he's obviously having some major work done - a cavity, a root canal, widsom teeth removed - far as I know, listerine isn't going to fill my cavity, or pull my wisdom teeth for me.

no. but if you use it regularly in your home oral health routine it could help prevent them. i think if the copy were tweaked to be less about promising to never have to come to the dentist and more about making your visits pleasant it would be okay. not great. just okay.
i agree with you 100% about promising things like never having to see a dentist is dangerous legal territory. that would be like claiming if you eat a certain brand of margerine you'll never get a heart attack or if you eat enough carrots you'll have perfect vision forever.

good point. I'm gonna start calling you feisty elle. haha. Prevention would be a fine (safe) angle. I've just noticed this recurring theme with listerine making the argument that you can now say goodbye to the dentist.

i'll pay more attention to listerine and saying goodbye to the dentist! that's just a ridiculous statement!

It's a nice clever idea for media, but those are not stickers, it's just photoshopped on the ceiling. Good idea though, if they actually get to really implement it someday.

Stepan Zalesak must've been suckin that special dental gas back. The lines are terrible and cheesy, at least give the people having to stare at them something actually entertaining and memorable to read.

Cuts to the chase, rather than the soft 'fresh breath' sell.
It's our own stupid fault to end up in THAT chair.
So, why not get in their face out it?
Great thinking.
