you guys are more concerned to say that the idea was " DONE BEFORE " then actually give credit of the usage of the idea. You sound like a bunch of parrots, repeating the same thing over and over and over...
The creation of an idea today, 100% original, is almost impossible, since we are subjected to references and what we saw our entire life. Tho the icy idea has been used before, I bet it did communicate the brand and what it's selling. If it did work, probably the client had an increase on selling his stuff.
