Head full of ideas and no job?
www.jobscout24.de

The installation encourages students to look for their first job online at the JobScout24 database. At the assembly halls of their universities students meet this life-size sculpture of a young man. He has so many great ideas in his head, that it is completely swollen. Therefor he has to push his head around in a wheelbarrow. The sculpture is a unique piece of art made of silicone and real hair by the Berlin based artist Stefan von Essen. The sign delivers the solution to every student who is looking for a job.

Haha, this is very well done. I like how the position of the body naturally guides your eyes to the advertising message. Great guerrilla tool.

If you dare to call Steve Irwin talented. You can just as easy call Steve-O talented too. The only thing they did was making a fool out of themselves on television and they had a huge amount of succes with it.

steve irwin was a legend mate, a late legend. a true aussie hero. he was a larrakin yes, every one liked him.

A. J. SMITH's picture 2850 pencils

He may of larked about like an ass, but I thought Steve Irwin was ace, unlike Steve-O, who merely larks about like an ass, Steve Irwin also informed us about animals, and was a good entertaining, amiable role model; if everyone in the world was like Steve Irwin, it'd be a far better place... although alot of us would be dead.

He also had balls of steel! Getting up close and personal with the most highly evolved killing machines nature has created!

What a guy!

Yes...but talented? The man got a weak spot for animals yes, alot us have a weak spot for beasties. But you ahve to be a bit of an idiot to do the stuff he did. He knew what he did (I hope) but to call it talented? A talent is a natural endowment or ability of a superior quality. He got balls.
I dont say he wasn't good at it. I'm just saying he is overrated. There are alot of people in the world jumping off roofs, punching Crocodiles, snorting hot sauce and putting those movies on Youtube. They dont get any fame, but had the same size balls to do it just as Steve. He just got famous for doing that stuff. The fact that there had to be some educational information behind it was a reason to properly show it on TV. Otherwise it was as meaningless and studip as said Jackass.

Talent can be described in many ways. For me he was a hero. I don't care if he was talented or not. :)

A. J. SMITH's picture 2850 pencils

OK, his talent wasn't in what he did, thats true, but people loved him, and he made wildlife shows entertaining, so perhaps his way of communicating was his talent?

I'm not sure whether he was just nice natured or whether he came across that was as a result of his people skills (talent?)

So I guess his 'talent' is debatable.

Either way it certainly wasn't as meaningless as Jackass, but then again, you could say Jackass was a form of satire???

Its all a matter of opinion really.

Yes I guess you are right.
Look I dont want to offend people, I myself love Steve, big fan here. I love him for his personality. His joy for life, his love for anything living and the enthusiasm that goes with that. Thats pure passion there. And bringing that to the media is 1 a way for making money and 2 the way to show me that passion. So I do not mind him at all. The only thing that triggered me is that he was called talented. And that is one thing I do not agree.
But wat we all CAN agree on is that he is (yes he will allways be) a BEAUTY! Crikey!
