It's not fake, it's student work. But I agree it can't be done. You would need a piezoelectric device to generate electricity at the very beginning and the amount of energy created would be microscopical. But apparently IBM engineers said it will work fine.

I'd love to see some non Miami Ad School student work.
I disagree here, Although it might be that at the moment its not something that could be carried out (at least not in the way it is thought of) it is an interesting point to explore, its an idea that can open a posibility for outbreaking devicies that might indeed generate the intended solution. From binary codes to bidi codes..who wouldve bet on something like that?. In the end, advertising is not only about selling products, but generating solutions as well, changing the world and bringing new developments into the market...thumbs up to what ive seen from M Ad S brooklyn lateley, Its visionary, refreshing and brings hope to the way young creatives are focusing on advertising. IMO
