This just makes me want to go to South Africa

Guest's picture

God you are ignorant. There's thousands of people being murdrered all over South Africa as you read this and all you can reply and all you can say is that you'd like to go there because its easy to get a gun. Let me tell you something, you wouldn't last a day in that country with an attitude like that, you'd be lying dead in a ditch before sundown.
moron.

Nice ad, but why is it here now? It must be close to 10 years old now? Older even? One Show winner back in the day as I recall.

True... But then, the copy is telling people how easy you can get a gun at South Africa of course somewhat indirectly ask people to go South Africa and get a gun.

Maybe a lot of people want to get a gun and maybe dead by sundown too. :P
It gets the message across to South Africans. That's the point.

For those of us who live in South Africa and have been affected by the escalating incidences of violent crime (myself included), this advert proved to be both frightening and effective. Aimed at South Africans, in no way does it inspire us to become gun owners. For the misguided 'Guests' who see this advert as an inviting opportunity to gain easy access to guns, please bear in mind that it is the murderers, rapists and highjackers in South Africa who continue to have such unlimited access to unlicensed firearms and not the law abiding citizens.

Finally. Thank you for being specific, and factual, without being rude, dumb, and malicious.

this guy is gonna be pissed when he finds out he isn't getting a gun, and his money is going to an anti-gun organization lol

Guest commenter's picture

The ad is not referring to legally aquiring a firearm - it's talking about illegal weapons. 90% of licence applications are rejected after a 2 year wait....

Guest commenter's picture

lol at the sensitive fags africa sucks

Kill or be killed.....That's the most obvious thought within all of us. Easily accessible guns can cause more violence but it's the people's choice who use these guns. They are a tool. It's the people that you use them, that make them so deadly.

i think all you people that dont actually live in SA you should just shut up. most of you dont know what you are talking about. If you ppl lived here and had to deal with all the murder, rape ect you would have a different point of view.

Guest's picture

just go die all of u!

Guest's picture

But seriously, what happens when you pay for one of those? i know they are fake, but are they like squirt guns or something?

Guest's picture

Its a photoshop, guy. And the violence in SA isnt so bad. I live there. I should know. Or maybe I'm just used to it. :P
