Gold's Gym: Elevator

Stickers showing two muscular arms were pasted outside the lift doors. Another sticker showing the torso of the body builder with arms stretched was pasted on the inside of the lift wall. When the lift door opened, the arms parted and looked as if the man is forcing the door open.

How can one be GREAT, doing campaigns that have been done to death.
Just take a refreshing approach,

Great concept. I would love to see the reaction of the people when a really skinny man is actually standing in the lift infront of the sticker

Seen too many of these door opening ads. When my creatives bring these kind of ads my questions is will it win an award, if not then why waste the time (this, assuming all these are for agency'sportfolio and awards as the client is non paying).

On a more logical level i agree with picture jockey. This only works when the lift is empty and door open only as much as it is shown in the visual above.

This was done for the release of the latest Superman movie. Same thing, just that he ripped of his shirt (the door), and inside was -tadaaa- superman..
Hence, this is plagiarizing. (and maybe plagiarizing of plagiarizing)
