GAP: Sprize™ Loyalty Program Launch
Introducing Sprize™. Shopping turned on its head.
Gap is literally turning shopping on its head with the Vancouver launch of a new loyalty program. Called Sprize™, the program, which is a retailing first, allows shoppers to buy clothing at full price and receive automatic credits should it go on sale any time in the following 45 days.
“We’re taking away the frustration and worry over buying a product at full price, and then seeing the price drop soon afterwards,” said Marka Hansen, president of Gap Brand North America, in a release. “Sprize will give our customers the confidence and instant gratification of buying what they want when they want it.”

i don't like it.
although this surely got results i think it's obvious. "we are on ur head, so lets turn everything upside down"
it's just money inverted, nothing else.
really eye catching. well done.
brilliant concept, superlative execution. has left me upside down. APPLAUSE!

wow, up side down..
very nice...
hard (and nice) work that pays back well... love it.
now that's nice. the upside down idea is about as old as advertising, but you can see: if it's done with so much love, nobody cares.
Great ambient/pos
niiiiiceeeeeeeee, love it, it remind me of a bar in mexico city called el revez, it was basically the same thing, super cool

Awesome! Amidst the horrible bombarding of advertising everyone witnesses everyday... this certainly and pleasantly might catch your attention. Great concept... great execution and above all a great job by the whole team! Hats off!
And then GOD said...
Let there be creativity!!!
great project!!!
and i guess it will be bigger and bigger
So, they pulled this stunt at only ONE location??? (And the rest "word-of-mouth" and YouTube posts?)
Considering it's such a huge promotion (covering the entire North America), I'm not so sure if futzing around with some display items in ONE location in Vancouver is enough to get the message across to, I don't know how many hundreds of millions of "ordinary" consumers who might shop at a GAP store...
That said, it was quite fun to watch! Three parked cars flipped over was a nice touch.
.
yeah, great idea... have you seen this?
