I guess it would depend on where you put this piece of ambient, but effective idea.

Done more than 10,000 times. Predictable.

All the makers of this ad, go back to ad school.

Yeah very nice idea.
The tag line could be more visible though...

Thoughts from the jury.... ah... yet another clock idea, move on.

2/5 for effort.

I just did picture in my head how many applications of this same resource I'll be seeing on monday. Good idea.

is it me or is this very funny?

Your are right, it seems funny.

i think its hilarious, i think its far to serious a subject to use such a gimmicky/cutsie execution. how is this not funny, its a joke

I just did picture in my head how many applications of this same resource I'll be seeing on monday. Good idea. (Althought I like more the resource than the message...).

I'm sure it's more than one an hour. Also, the execution seems tasteless, almost comical... but I really like the idea. I just wish it didn't look so funny.

First Cut Is The Deepest...

not bad...

* it's not how good you are. it's how good you want it to be *

This looks like a tasteless joke.

the concept is ok, but the tone is all wrong for this subject.

Its funny like someone said above, which it shouldn't be, and the whole 'ooh thats a clever idea!' plan doesn't work for Social Marketing, it needs to communicate the issue, not make someone subconciously buy a product.

Also the art direction makes the protagonists look comical, further distancing it from its taget audience.

I can't say it's funny. If there were Tom and Jerry on the clock, then you could have called it funny. Anyway I can't find a use for that clock, even in the offices...maybe the same concept can be better used for a print AD or maybe even better for an outdoor: an outdoor clock, big, visible temporary...

ah.. time to beat my wife(gf)

Nice idea. But yeah. It kinda made me chuckle. And I'm a woman. ha!

guys, are you brain-nippled? this is like the oldest idea around!
poor doggies..

Lord, please, save this soul

Forgive me for being geeky about it. But come to think of it, the guy does not actually beat his wife every hour (meaning every 60 minutes). If he beats her at 12:00nn, the next hits will approximately be at 1:06, 2:11, 3:16, 4:23, 5:28, 6:33, 7:38, 8:44, 9:49 and 10:55. None at 11pm. Cycle will start all over again at 12 o'clock. Therefore, strictly speaking it's 11 times in 12 hours, 22 times in 24 hours.

I...I kinda want one now.
