Try before you buy Dermagraphics.co.nz Tattoo

Tattoos are permanent. So before you get one you want to make sure you’re going to like it. To help with this, we placed stickers of tattoos in bathroom and changing room mirrors throughout the city. People could line the tattoos up in the mirror to give the impression that they were actually on their skin. Below the tattoo was another sticker with the message.

The idea is good, nothing refreshing but good, but I'm curious if people will actually behave like the exampels above.

pulchinela's picture 797 pencils

People won't behave like examples, but if they get the idea it's ok.

Bit tough if you want a tattoo on your leg

Ad's task is to "make" you think. 100% sure anyone responded these things on the mirror. It doesn't make ever suspicious one go and have a tattoo, but makes the others who consider a customer.

It's good, but tattoos mirrors have been done many times for different subjects. I guess that's not a problem.

The Lion's picture 124 pencils

No, it is not. Mirror is just a surface that can be used any number of times.

To me it looks like some ghetto stuff.

nice idea. there could be a bit more variety for my taste. showing only lame tribals gives me the impression this tattoo studio kinda uncreative

J Designer's picture 1751 pencils

I see two tribal’s and one ta moko - This dose work for its intended audience because these are the most used tattoo styles in New Zealand.

I like the idea...my only question would be the height issue...It may be easy for a tall person to bend down to position the tattoos, but it would be really hard for a short person to jump up to position the tattoos.

Wordnerd's picture 5637 pencils

actually that's what i meant - a mirror with different styles of tattoos at differnet places. to do what they are saying: trying it out before deciding

I like it, and yes the idea has been done before, but the thing that always gets me is what J Designer said. Easy for the tall person, difficult for the short. And I, alas am of the smaller variety. That arm tattoo, would look like its on my neck and that chest one would be on my face.
