My thoughts exactly. Just another sampling event, nothing special whatsoever.
Nothing is original any more. But when theses people got off the plane and met the families and loves ones they all had a happy moment and it included Coca Cola. You can't create real moments like that on your own.
It's true it doesn't have a huge concept behind but it's a very effective and "disruptive" way to catch people's attention and create a lot of free media impressions with a fairly low budget. Not everything in advertising needs to be a Titanium Lion in Cannes. This is good. Not amazing but still good.
