Besides it works only when it's windy i like this concept very much. Simple and clever.

wouldn't call that a problem.
seems like it's somewhere near a lake or something (would make a lot of sense media-wise, given the TA) which are areas that are usualy more windy than inlands.

It can be filled in with some substance from the other side, like sponge perhaps. So even if there is no wind... great.
