Holiday season is fire season. Your best defence is a working smoke alarm. Install this battery, test the alarm and happy holidays!

Residential fires increase dramatically over the holidays. We partnered with Christmas tree lots to hang fire safety-themed decorations on trees throughout the lot. The decorations contained a free 9V battery to refresh their smoke alarms.

It's good, but it would've been even cooler if they gave away small smoke detector ornaments.
